What is Swell Sentiment?

Sentiment Swell is a capstone project exploring how small brands and agencies can better manage risk in influencer marketing. It proposes a SaaS platform that analyzes creator content history, sentiment, and toxicity signals so marketing teams can move beyond manual scrolling and gut feel. The concept sits inside the broader martech stack as a focused “risk and sentiment layer” for influencer partnerships.

The project combines secondary research on the creator economy, influencer platforms, and B2B SaaS buying behavior with primary interviews and observations of DTC brands and boutique agencies. From that research, it defines a clear target customer, articulates market gaps, and outlines a product that delivers quick, visual risk assessments, audience quality indicators, and shareable reports. The work is framed as an investor‑ready opportunity for an early‑stage startup.

Beyond the product idea, the project develops an integrated go‑to‑market strategy for Sentiment Swell. It includes a positioning thesis, 4Ps marketing mix, and specific initiatives such as education‑led content, product‑led acquisition via trials, targeted search and LinkedIn campaigns, and an agency partner program. Together, these elements show how an insight‑driven concept can evolve into a feasible venture in the influencer marketing technology space.
